Curious, ambitious, and building toward engineering

My name is Pawel, I am a Polish student born in 2010 and I am currently studying at the European School of Alicante. I want to study engineering in the future, although I have not decided on the exact specialisation yet.

What already feels clear is what I enjoy most: coding, programming, and hardware-related projects. I like understanding how systems work, solving practical problems, and turning ideas into something real.

First Innovation Award for a low-cost rehabilitation solution

I participated in the European School Science Symposium and won the First Innovation Award. My project focused on making wrist rehabilitation more accessible with a low-cost glove designed to support recovery exercises.

The final report explains the motivation behind the idea, the glove design, the testing process, and the results collected from several users over four weeks. The goal was to create a simpler and more affordable tool for people recovering from wrist injuries.

Competing in a semi-professional environment

I also play basketball in a semi-professional way, and my current club is Lucentum Alicante. Basketball has helped me develop discipline, resilience, teamwork, and focus.

Sport and academics push me in the same direction: to keep learning, stay ambitious, and perform well under pressure. That mindset is a big part of who I am.
